Lost Horse Press Gets Lit!

Join Lost Horse Press for an afternoon of Readings, Book Signings, Books! and a few Surprises in celebration of Spokane’s Get Lit! Festival!

Lost Horse Press Gets Lit! takes place on Friday, 13 April 2011 from 3 PM until 5 PM in the Walther Gallery of the MAC Museum at 2316 West First Avenue in Spokane, Washington. The event is free and open to all.

Friday afternoon’s featured readers will include Lost Horse Press poets: J.T. Ledbetter, whose most recent collection of poems—Old & Lost Rivers—will be launched at Get Lit!; as will David Axelrod’s latest collection from Lost Horse Press, What Next, Old Knife?; and Carlos Reyes’ new book—Pomegranate, Sister of the Heart—will also debut at Get Lit; Melissa Kwasny whose book, Thistle, won the 2005 Idaho Prize for Poetry will read from her most recent collection, The Nine Senses was released by Milkweed Editions in 2011; Carolyne Wright, who will read from A Change of Maps and her latest book, Mania Klepto (Turning Point Books, 2012); Maya Jewell Zeller, Gonzaga University professor, will read from her new collection published by Lost Horse Press in 2011, Rust Fish; EWU Creative Writing professor and award-winning poet and publisher, Christopher Howell will read from his most recent book, Gaze (Milkweed, 2012); as will Gonzaga University English professor, D.S. Butterworth, whose book, The Radium Watch Dial Painters, was published in 2008 by Lost Horse Press.
